Support

Web Reactions is a small, free, donation-funded project maintained by one person. GitHub Issues are the public intake queue for requests that need tracking; the in-extension Report tab is for page-specific bugs. We do not operate a separate support inbox.

Report a bug on a specific site

Use the Report tab in the extension popup for a problem on a page where Web Reactions runs — a picker that won't appear, a broken layout, a button in the wrong spot. Open the tab on the affected page so it captures that page's URL along with your free-text note; reporting straight from the broken page gives us the context we need to reproduce and fix the adapter. The Report tab is for bugs on a specific site only — it isn't the place to suggest a new site (see below).

If the popup cannot open, or the bug is not tied to a specific page, use the bug report issue.

Suggest a new site

New-site and new-platform requests belong in a site request issue. Include a couple of public example URLs and a screenshot of where the picker should sit. GitHub Issues are used for these requests so they can be searched, deduplicated, prioritized, and closed by the adapter pull request.

Other requests and questions

For product changes that are not site support, open a feature request issue. For a question that should become public FAQ material, open a question issue. For legal notices or privacy requests, use the privacy/legal issue. Discussions are not used as the support queue.

Account and data

You can delete your account and reverse your reactions in one click from the extension settings. For what we store and your rights under the GDPR, the CCPA, and similar regimes, see the Privacy Policy. Curious what the extension can access in the first place? See Browser permissions.
